Simple ways to make the most out of your training
First of all, if you have never taken Yoga Naga class at Shakti's Elements, I strongly suggest you just jump in! Your perfect timing is "now". So visit www.shaktiselements.com and find the schedule. Put on a comfortable cloth, and get to work! Yoga Naga will train you from inside out.
- Eat light - don't eat a lot before the class.
- Drink plenty of water before the class. Also make sure you have a bottle of water with you.
- Have towel handy. Yoga mat can get quite slippery with your sweat.
- Visualize your poses in your mind. You will use more and more of your mind. Your mind is a muscle, too- keep on excercising with your body.
- Nurture yourself. Think of the training as a place to nuture yourself and place for growth. Enjoy.
- Nurture others. At certain point in the training, you may hit your limit (emotionally, mentally, physically). At those times, the group energy in the class will carry you through. Remember that your strength is encouraging others at times as well.
